Why East Mill Creek vs East Millcreek
At one time the East Mill Creek Ward included all of the Canyon Rim, Mt. Olympus and East Mill Creek Community Council areas - plus some of Holladay City.
--The East Mill Creek Betterment League was organized in 1935.
--The East Mill Creek Lions Club was organized in 1944.
--The East Mill Creek Community Council was organized on December 5, 1990.

There have been a number of residents ask if this designation will prohibit them from subdividing their property, remodeling their home or replacing it. The answer is no.
